Afraid of what’s next, a lot of directions were appealing. Some of his friends were starting bands, going to shows. Doing what they believed in. Getting involved, it just seemed right! You wake up. The light is shining outside. Every single day is a good day to start your own personal revolution. A quest for the answers, improving yourself as an individual. About this song: Foundation is about my own perspective of growing up inside the punk/hardcore scene. My father died when I was 10 and I’ve found myself lost, without guidance. Many roads I could have travelled, but some of them were quite dark... When I started going to punk/hardcore shows I’ve found a positive escape and soon I realized that I was not alone. We all came from different backgrounds and past scenarios. All we needed was a place to restart... The punk/hardcore scene became our second or first home. To meet inspirational people, to read challenging fanzines, to sing our aims, hopes and dreams. Growing in a creative and free thinking environment, through a DIY perspective, we found the weapons to develop ourselves. Looking back, I understand now how lucky and priviliged we were.
